IMF appoints Sara Bitner as Forensic DNA Technical Leader

Intermountain Forensics is excited to announce that we have appointed Sara Bitner as our Forensic DNA Technical Leader to manage and run all aspects of our laboratory's quality system. Sara brings 15+ years of amazing forensic leadership experience to our team. Sara recently served as the Forensic Biology Manager at the Allegheny County Office of the Medical Examiner in Pittsburgh, PA. There she served as Quality Manager, DNA Technical Leader and section manager. She holds an impressive list of certifications, including: ANAB ISO 17025 Technical Assessor Federal Bureau of Investigation Quality Assurance Standards Auditor American Board of Criminalistics - Molecular Biology Certification NFSA Certified Foremsic Manager (II) Lean Six Sigma Technical Assessor She is a member of the American Academy of Forensic Science, the Association of Forensic Quality Assurance Managers, The American Society of Crime Laboratory Directors and the International Associate of Identification. To say that we are overwhelmed by the reputation, skills, experience and fit to the team that Sara brings to our laboratory is an understatement. We are so excited for her to join us and help us change the world. We'd also like to thank all of the applicants and interviewees for this position.
