Through the efforts of this outstanding team, she has now been confirmed as Catherine Neely.

[Case Resolution] Oldest Remains from 1844 identified as Captain Henry Goodsell
Intermountain Forensics is honored to have contributed to one of the oldest cold case identifications ever resolved through Forensic Investigative Genetic Genealogy (FIGG)—the identification of skeletal remains found along the New Jersey shoreline as Captain Henry Goodsell, a 29-year-old seafarer lost at sea in 1844.

Intermountain Forensics is honored to support Moxxy Forensic Investigations, the Pima County Office of the Medical Examiner, and a compassionate group of supporters in announcing the identification of a teenage girl found deceased in southern Arizona in 2008. After nearly 17 years, she has been confirmed as MarÃa Eluvia Méndez Morales, a 16-year-old from San Marcos, Guatemala.
